Security Guard's Mysterious Death Under Investigation

The body of Balendra, a 55-year-old security guard, was found with a bullet injury on his forehead inside his house in Neelkanth Colony on Bhola Road on Monday. Balendra lived alone in Dhar. His licensed pistol was also found near the body, raising several questions about his death. Police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. SP City and CO also inspected the spot and gave instructions for investigation. Police are trying to find out in the initial investigation whether Balendra committed suicide with a licensed pistol or he was murdered and tried to give the incident a form of suicide. Investigation is currently underway on both aspects. Police say that the real cause of death can be revealed only after the post-mortem report and forensic investigation.
