Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke announced a tricolor march on Connaught Palace in Delhi on 16 October. However, the police detained Abhijeet Dipke before the march. Now this rally is being claimed by the Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde faction. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam claimed Abhijeet Dipke, "The tricolor rally that was announced by the leaders of the CJP and the Left parties was just an excuse. They want to create anarchy in the country. They want to defy the law and order of the country and therefore they want to agitate with a new name every day." Sanjay Nirupam added, "It is the CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke himself who has taken his bail in court and has given an affidavit that he will not do any activity that will disturb the peace for the next one year. Now the way he appealed for the flag to be hoisted in Connaught Palace in Delhi is an excuse by the Shiv Sena leaders to create anarchy in Delhi.
