Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut Criticizes Central Government Over Student Protests

Sanjay Raut, an MP from the Uddhav Thackeray faction, appeared aggressive in the Rajya Sabha on the issue of student protests and police action on them, as well as the anti-paper leak bill. He took on the central government, saying, "There is always talk of emergency here. Emergency started with the student movement, so why are you so afraid of the student movement?" He questioned. "Where is the Home Minister who gives statements on everything?" He said, "I am about to make a film'Missing Home Minister '." The Shiv Sena (UBT) MP in the Rajya Sabha said, "The dream of millions of people of India has died or has been killed. On July 20, at Jantar Mantar, those dreams were lathicharged, tear gas was released, children were killed with sticks and finally pellet guns were fired to end the dreams of the people." He added, "There are many leaders in the House, whose politics started with the student movement. I am not surprised that children are always sitting here to express their condolences.
