Shiv Sena's Troubles Mount: Party May Lose Parliament Office

Uddhav Thackeray's troubles do not seem to be getting any less. On the one hand, earlier Lok Sabha MPs left the Shiv Sena and joined the Eknath Shinde faction. On the other hand, now Uddhav Thackeray is going to get another blow. Shiv Sena may be given an office in the Parliament complex. This will mean that Shiv Sena will not have its own party office in Parliament. Shiv Sena (UBT), which is still trying to recover from the rebellion of its six Lok Sabha MPs, may get another blow. There is a strong possibility that the party may lose the office in the Parliament complex. Six Lok Sabha MPs of Shiv Sena have joined the Eknath Shinde faction and joined the alliance with the ruling party. Once Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla formally approves this merger, then only four MPs will be left in the Shiv Sena (UBT) parliamentary party.
