Sindhudurg District Issues Notification for By-Elections to Fill Vacant Gram Panchayat Positions

Lokmat News Network, Sindhudurg: The bugle has been sounded for the by-election to the vacant posts of Gram Panchayat members and direct Sarpanchs in various taluks of Sindhudurg district. The Collectorate has released the official notification of the vacancies till 31st January, 2026 and the notice has been issued with the signature of Deputy Collector (सा.प्र.) Pratima Varale on 30th March, 2026. In this by-election, the vacancies in all the major taluks of the district viz. Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Devgad, Malvan, Kudal, Vengurla, Sawantwadi, and Dodamarg include the posts of Sarpanchs / Sarpanchs.
