Sonam Wangchuk released a video message from Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on Wednesday evening. Sonam said, 25 days have passed since the fast but I am still alive. Some MPs have come to meet me, they appealed to end the hunger strike. She said, I am ready to end the fast today if I get an assurance from the government. Just don't take action against the students. Meanwhile, JP Nadda will hold a press conference in a short while. Wangchuk has been on hunger strike for the last 25 days. He was earlier taken to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi from Jantar Mantar. On Tuesday, he was shifted to Medanta Hospital after a court order. This is where he is undergoing treatment. Earlier, 15 opposition MPs had reached the hospital to meet him. 55 opposition MPs have written to Wangchuk, urging him to end the fast. MPs from Aam Aadmi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Samajwadi Party and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have reached the hospital. At 8: 30 pm tonight, Union Health Minister JP Nadda will meet Wangchuk in the morning.
