Speculations of a re-alliance between the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the BJP ahead of the 2027 assembly elections in Punjab have intensified. Senior Akali Dal leader and MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal hinted at a possible alliance between the two parties during a rally in Sangrur. She said that alliances keep happening and people will soon know what lies ahead. Addressing the public meeting, Harsimrat Badal said, "The demand you have placed for a skill university is very good. These are small tasks. Guru Sahib please. It is not necessary for me to speak, so I stop my speech here. You will find out for yourself." She added, "Guru Sahib please give us strength and strength. Such agreements were made from Delhi. Once again the foundation of development and progress should be laid in Punjab, which will benefit the people and Punjab." Harsimrat Kaur's statement comes days after her husband and Akali Dal president Narendra Modi met Sukhbir Badal in Parliament to support the Delhi government's monsoon session.
