Sreesanth Challenges Harbhajan to Boxing Match Over 'Slapgate' Controversy

Slapgate, one of Indian cricket's most famous controversies, is in the news again. Former Indian fast bowler S. Sreesanth has issued an open challenge to his former teammate Harbhajan Singh, inviting him to fight in the ring. Sreesanth's statement comes after he expressed his displeasure over a recent advertisement, which he is watching, linking it to the 2008 slap incident. Sreesanth opened up about the nearly two-decade-old controversy. He claimed that Harbhajan Singh is still using the incident and taking financial advantage of it. Angered by this, he publicly challenged Harbhajan to a fight. In an interview to Lallantop, Sreesanth directly addressed Harbhajan, asking him to get into the ring and fight. He referred to an old promotional poster, in which both the players were seen standing face to face wearing boxing gloves. Sreesanth said that he wanted Harbhajan to come to the ring for a real fight and said that he was ready to fight in front of him.
