Suvendu Adhikari Named as New Chief Minister of West Bengal, Roopa Ganguly Appointed Deputy

Kolkata: In a major change in West Bengal politics, Suvendu Adhikari has been named as the new Chief Minister of the state. Suvendu Adhikari will not only become the Chief Minister of the state, but will also keep the important Home Ministry. In addition to this, there will be two Deputy Chief Ministers in the state, in which the name of famous actress and leader Roopa Ganguly has been confirmed. To balance the cabinet, the BJP has chosen the formula of two Deputy Chief Ministers. The second Deputy Chief Minister along with Roopa Ganguly will be a male representative from North Bengal (Darjeeling area). Earlier in 2021, he also defeated Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram, now he has achieved this feat for the second time in a row.
