She said that for the last two weeks, the proceedings of the Parliament are not running properly, due to which important issues of the people are not being discussed and crores of taxpayers'money is also being wasted. Maliwal appealed to both the ruling and opposition parties to maintain the dignity of Parliament and let the proceedings of the House run smoothly. Swati Maliwal, in a video message released on social media platform X, said that the proceedings of Parliament are continuously being affected for the last two weeks. She said that crores of taxpayers'money is spent on every day's session of Parliament. The people of the country want their issues to be raised in Parliament, serious discussions are held on them and problems are solved. Maliwal said that the MPs of both the ruling and opposition parties reach Parliament to represent the hopes and problems of the people from different parts of the country. She said that the responsibility of the people to come to the House is that they start the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha in an effective manner.
