A TADA court in Jamnagar has sentenced 9 accused, including the notorious Mamumiyan of Porbandar, to 5 years in jail for landing RDX and lethal weapons at Gosabara, Mumbai, in retaliation to the Babri Masjid demolition. However, Mamumiyan, a prisoner of raw material in this cache, will not have to go to jail to serve his sentence as he has been in jail for 12 years. While 4 accused, including Mamuniyan's brother Dadli Mia, in the same cache have been acquitted by the TADA court. The lethal weapons, including the RDX used in the 1993 Mumbai bombings, including AK 46, AK 47, hand grenades, were landed at Gosabara, next to Porbandar, and the consignment was smuggled from Gosabara to Mumbai. The TADA court in Jamnagar was conducting the trial of TADA Section 3, Section 4 and Section 5 of the RDX Act.
