Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Accuses DMK Party of Rampant Corruption

Terming the DMK as the root of corruption, he alleged that the party was always steeped in corruption. Top DMK leaders claimed that they had created'Periyar Knowledge World'after a lot of scrutiny. The Chief Minister alleged that now people were making fun of the massive corruption in its procurement process. The founder of TVK, which owns the advertisement, alleged in a statement, "DMK has done corruption in a different way, and has transformed from'Periyar Knowledge World'of Coimbatore to a world of corruption." The advertisement, he alleged, would never be forgiven by the future generations of Tamil Nadu. He claimed that there was rampant corruption in many cases, including tenders, during the previous DMK government. He alleged, "DMK is a party that has created a huge world of corruption for itself, and is now being exposed one by one."
