Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay took oath as Chief Minister today at Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered him the oath of office. Nine newly elected MLAs have also become ministers. His party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) won 108 seats in its maiden election and crossed the majority mark of 118 with the support of Congress, VCK and Left parties.
