Tamil Nadu Government Revokes OSD Astrologer: As soon as the newly appointed Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam supremo Thalapathy Joseph Vijay took over the reins of power, a decision sent shockwaves across the state. Vijay had appointed his close associate, noted astrologer and party spokesperson Ricky Radhan Pandit Vetrivel, as Special Political Officer in the Chief Minister's Office. However, he has been forced to cancel the appointment within 24 hours after facing severe opposition and criticism from allies. According to an official order issued by the Principal Secretary on Tuesday, Ricky Radhan Pandit Vetrivel was appointed as Political Advisor and Coordinating Officer to Chief Minister Vijay. He was entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating political strategy and administrative work. An astrologer was directly removed from an important position in the government machinery. The decision was opposed by the opposition as well as the allies. Later on Wednesday, an official statement was made in this regard.
