Tamil Nadu Voters Set New Record with 85% Turnout in State Assembly Elections

The public has broken all records of the last 74 years. The voting percentage for the 234-seat Tamil Nadu assembly has been recorded at 85 percent. There were long queues at the polling booths in Tamil Nadu. The competition is considered to be very tough. However, due to SIR, the number of voters has been reduced this time. The number of voters in Tamil Nadu has decreased from 641 million to 573 million. This is also considered to be one of the reasons for the increase in the voting percentage.
