Tata Sons and Tata Trusts Hire Top Lawyers Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Harish Salve

The Tata Sons vs Tata Trusts controversy has now seen the entry of two of the country's top lawyers. Senior lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi will represent Tata Trusts. Tata Sons has hired veteran lawyer Harish Salve. Both lawyers have represented India in major cases at home and abroad. It is no longer a matter of identity. Ever since Salve and Singhvi entered the Tata controversy, people have become interested in who is the richest of the two lawyers and how much they charge. Abhishek Manu Singhvi is an active politician and has been associated with the Congress party for a long time. Official details of their assets are available with the Election Commission. In his election affidavit filed while filing his Rajya Sabha nomination papers in Hyderabad on 6 March this year, Singhvi declared assets worth ₹2558 crore for the financial year 2024-2025 and ₹374 crore annually. Singhvi had paid over ₹7 crore in personal income tax returns in the last 14 years. Singhvi has also filed affidavits.
