Thieves Steal Gold Chain from Elderly Woman's Neck in Sardargarh Village

In Sardargarh village of Manavadar taluka, thieves challenged the police, broke into a sleepy elderly woman's house at night, stole a gold chain from her neck, and fled. According to the complaint of Jitendrabhai Panchanbhai Kanasagara, a farmer living near the bus station in Sardargarh village, his mother Vajiben was sleeping in her room on Monday night, when an unknown person entered the house taking advantage of the darkness. The thief snatched a five-and-a-half-ton gold chain worth Rs 98,000 from the elderly woman's neck. Other family members rushed in when the old woman woke up and called for help. The thief escaped through the back door of the room. The thief was found with a broken God's dagger and a false chain in the house, but the real gold chain was stolen. On the complaint of Jitendrabhai, the Manavadar police are investigating the incident.
