Three Killed in Bhubaneswar Apartment Fire Caused by Electric Panel Short Circuit

Bhubaneswar: Exams were over, granddaughter came to Ajai to cut kharacha. Khushi was having fun. Had gone to park, market, mall. Had gone to Nandankanan, planetarium. All the happiness turned to ashes in a jiffy. Apartment caught fire. Ajai and granddaughter died. 3 lives were lost in the fire. Such a shocking incident was witnessed at Basantibhilla Apartment in Jok Pokhari area of Laxmisagar Police Station, Bhubaneswar. The deceased have been identified as Biswanath Behera (65), Sulbha Behera (55) and Tejaswini Behera (10) of Khordajillagopinathpur area. Laxmisagar Police have registered a case and are investigating. However, preliminary investigation reveals that the fire broke out due to an electric panel short circuit in the apartment. Police along with Fire Department, TPCODL are further investigating the matter. Communication: Language of communication needs to be simple: According to PIB, Biswanath was not working in the flat for two nights due to security reasons.
