Three Students Killed in Horrific Accident on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Mumbai News: A horrific accident took place in Maharashtra, due to which three students died. These students went to Lonavla to watch the sunrise, their car hit from behind while trying to overtake a truck just before the Panvel exit of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, killing them. After the accident, the truck driver fled with the truck. At the same time, an FIR has been registered against the truck driver for negligent driving and causing death. The car was completely crushed. There were three more students with them but they were in two different cars. The police are waiting for the postmortem report to investigate the case. RTO officials have examined the car and their report will help find out whether the student was wearing a seatbelt or driving fast. Inspector (Crime) Anand Kamble of Panvel taluka police said that the footage of the IRB infrastructure site, which runs and maintains the expressway, was sought from the engineering site of Jaipur, but he said that the CCTV camera of the fourth year was the worst in Maharashtra, while two were in mechanical engineering.
