Thuthibari Police Seize 45 Pouches of Country Liquor, Arrest Accused Manoj Chauhan

Thuthibari. During patrolling, Kotwali police have arrested a youth with 45 pouches of country liquor. Police registered an FIR against the accused under the Excise Act and challaned him. Sub-Inspector Dinesh Singh Yadav of Thuthibari Kotwali police received information from the informer that a person was carrying illegal liquor on the way from Bodna to Katkhor. On receiving the information, police reached near the canal culvert on the way to Bodna village and waited for him. After some time, a youth was seen coming with a card wrapped in a cloth. After stopping and searching him, 45 pouches of country liquor including 26 pouches of Bunty-Babli, 19 pouches of Billo Rani were recovered from him. Thuthibari Kotwali in-charge Amit Singh said that the accused who was caught with the liquor was identified as Manoj Chauhan resident of village Bakuldiha, Thuthibari.
