These rebel MPs have not only taken over a small and anonymous political party, the Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI), but have also taken over the entire party. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, an old and very close associate of Mamata Banerjee, has been elected as the national president of this new party (NCPI).
