Trump Threatens Strike on Iran's Pickaxe Mountain, Defends Military Campaign

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that the US could strike Iran's Pickaxe Mountain very soon. Pickaxe Mountain is near Iran's heavily damaged Natanz uranium enrichment center. It's a very, very safe place with two very deep tunnel complexes. Regional tensions are expected to escalate after Trump's statement. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump also said that special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner (Trump's son-in-law) are going to Russia and Ukraine to present a proposal to end the war in Ukraine. He defended the ongoing US military campaign against Iran. He said that the main purpose of this operation is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. "We've been working on this for five months, and you know what we did in five months? We made sure that they didn't have nuclear weapons, that Iran wouldn't have nuclear fortresses, that they wouldn't have nuclear weapons underground," Trump said.
