Turkish Petroleum Ship Attacked by Drone Boat in Bosphorus Strait

There was about 1 million barrels of oil on board. Turkish state television reported that the ship was attacked in the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul. An unmanned drone boat hit the ship. Then there was an explosion. The ship was only 28 nautical miles away from Turkey's shoreline. There were two drone attacks on it in the Black Sea this year. In the previous one, a Russian oil tanker was attacked. The United States and Western European countries banned the purchase of oil from Russia due to the Ukraine war. Later, the United States imposed high tariffs on India to stop buying oil from Russia.
