Uddhav Thackeray Bids Emotional Farewell to Maharashtra Legislative Council

He said, "Today is 24 March. On this day six years ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown. My work as Chief Minister started from that day. It was a very strange and challenging time. Today, on the same date, I bid farewell to this House, it is a strange coincidence." Uddhav Thackeray also mentioned the important decisions of his tenure as Chief Minister. "The first decision of my cabinet was to give funds for the conservation of Raigad Fort, while the last decision of the cabinet was to name Aurangabad as Sambhajinagar." He also thanked the doctors who helped him during the Corona crisis.
