UN Diplomatic War Erupts as Israel Accuses China, France, and Pakistan of 'Backdoor Deals' with Iran

New Delhi: Amid rising global tensions and a maritime blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, an unprecedented diplomatic war has broken out at the United Nations. Israel's belligerent Ambassador Danny Danon has sensationally accused China, France, and Pakistan in the UN General Assembly of "backdoor deals" with Iran. Israel has claimed that while merchant ships around the world are being held hostage, these countries have secretly paid Iran to clear the way for their ships. These allegations have rekindled geopolitics and raised serious questions about global maritime security. The Israeli ambassador, in a direct attack on French envoy Bonne Fon, asked how a French ship passed Hamekhem on April 3 despite ships from other countries being intercepted. Danon quipped, "Show us the check that you gave to Iran." Not so much, did he question whether China's ambassador believe that Chinese ships are receiving similar financial exemptions under similar international agreements.
