Union Minister Slams Opposition, Vows to Root Out Paper Leaks in India

Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was on his Jodhpur visit on Saturday (July 25). During his interaction with the media at Jodhpur Airport, he came down heavily on the opposition parties and clarified the Modi government's stand on serious issues like paper leaks. Shekhawat accused the opposition of spreading confusion among the public for political self-interest. The Union Minister also referred to a famous Marwari proverb in a direct attack on the working style of the opposition parties. He said, "Jahan dekhi bhari parat, leke liye baraat." Shekhawat explained the meaning of this taunt by saying that some political parties only see their advantage and are only engaged in seeking political opportunities on every sensitive issue, while they have nothing to do with the solution. Expressing concern over the ongoing paper leak controversy in the country, Shekhawat said that it is definitely a serious matter, but the government is fully committed to root it out. The Union Minister clarified that the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working hard to secure the country's youth and provide them with an effective and transparent system of examinations.
