Unique 'Gym Wali Kanwar' Yatra Promotes Devotion, Fitness, and Anti-Drug Message

But a Kanwar that has reached Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh has caught the attention of the people a little more. The reason is its unique style. This Kanwar has a statue of Lord Shiva along with dumbbells, weight plates and exercise equipment. People are giving it the name'Gym Wali Kanwar '. In fact, with this unique Kanwar, Delhi Police personnel Amit alias Mithu Maderia have left Haridwar for Delhi. Amit is not just giving a message of devotion to Bholenath through his journey. Amit is inspiring the youth to stay away from drugs and keep their bodies fit. His Kanwar is a symbol of faith in Shiva on one hand, and on the other hand, gym equipment is giving a message of hard work and fitness. According to Amit, this Yatra will go from Haridwar to Mudela, Delhi, Najafgarh and on this date, he has made a huge effort to cover a distance of about 250 kilometers.
