Unopposed Elections at Bar Council of India; Dramatic Kidnapping Rescue in Gujarat

Former President of the Bar Council of Gujarat JJ Patel has been elected unopposed as a member of the Bar Council of India in the general body meeting of the Council. Praveen Patel was elected unopposed as the President of the BCG in the meeting chaired by Kamal Trivedi, Advocate General, Government of Gujarat. This is the first time in the history of the Bar Council that such an unopposed election has taken place. Senior Advocate JJ Patel has been the State President of the Gujarat BJP Legal Cell and was holding the post of the President of the Bar Council of Gujarat for a long time. In the general body meeting of the Council, he has been elected unopposed as a member of the Bar Council of India from Gujarat. Praveen Patel was elected as the President of the BCG, Nimisha Dhotre as the Vice President. Advocate Aniruddha Jhala was elected as the President of the Executive Committee, while Senior Advocates Anil Kela, Dilip Patel, Manoj Undakt, Bharat Bhagat were elected as the co-presidents of the BCG. 15 hours, 170 CCTVs and 100 KM chase by the Gujarat Police rescued the kidnapped 5-year-old boy.
