UP Cabinet Approves Establishment of Amardeep University in Firozabad

UP Cabinet Decision: Another private sector university will be set up in UP. Amardeep University will be set up in Firozabad. This proposal of the Higher Education Department was approved in the cabinet meeting on Monday. Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay said that a letter of intent has been approved to the producer institution for the establishment of private sector Amardeep University in Firozabad. This university will be set up on a total of 20.08 acres of land in Pachwan village of Firozabad. The producer institution Amardeep Memorial Trust has been recommended to issue a letter of intent for the establishment of this private university. It is being approved to set up private sector universities in UP continuously so that the youth do not have to run towards big cities to pursue higher education. Farmers or landowners will get 33 percent more compensation for the land used for towers in transmission projects.
