US and China Discuss Economic and Trade Issues Ahead of Presidential Summit

In New York, the US and Chinese delegations held important talks on economic and trade issues. China's ambassador to India said on social media platform X. Economic and trade issues of common concern to the two countries were discussed, as well as the implementation of the consensus reached in previous meetings. This discussion comes at a time when US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are set to meet this week. A proposal to create a new information sharing mechanism is also being put forward to Xi.
