US Congressman Congratulates PM Modi on Longest Tenure as India's Prime Minister

The co-chair of the Senate India Caucus and US Congressman John Cornyn congratulated Narendra Modi on his country's longest tenure as Prime Minister. He said that PM Modi's tenure has been "transformative." India's global identity has been strengthened under his leadership and US-India relations have also become stronger than ever. In a post on X, Cornyn, a Republican Congressman from Texas, said, "Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming India's longest-serving elected Prime Minister. He has led for 4,399 days with the trust of 1.4 billion people across three democratic mandates." Cornyn said, "From lifting 250 million people out of poverty to making India the world's fastest-growing major economy, Prime Minister Modi's tenure has been transformative. The US-India partnership has never been stronger." US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore also congratulated PM Modi on this achievement. In a post on X, he wrote, "Heartiest congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his dedication to India's long-time leadership and a testimony to his decades of public service!"
