US-India Relations Reach 30-Year Low Under Trump: Ro Khanna

Indian-American Congressman Ro Khanna has lashed out at US President Donald Trump's anti-India policies. Ro Khanna has said that under Trump, US-India relations are at the "lowest point in 30 years." Khanna's comments at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum Leadership Summit in Washington were in sharp contrast to those of US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore. Gore had hoped at the same event that India-US friendship would stand the test of time. Recalling his recent visit to China, Khanna said that the Indian ambassador there told him that Trump's policies have broken "the trust of an entire generation." In his speech, the California Democrat said, "You know I'm not one to mince words. US-India relations have been at their lowest point in the last 30 years."
