US-Iran Confrontation Shifts Focus to Kuwait and Bahrain

Tensions in the Middle-East are at an all-time high again. Recent US strikes have been followed by fires. After a long ceasefire, Iran suddenly attacked some oil and gas tankers near the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in the US bombing several Iranian cities and towns along the Gulf. But, what is more interesting is Iran's response. Obviously, it retaliated, but this time its targets have changed. This time, the victims of Iran's anger have not been the countries that are usually in the headlines. Traditional adversaries like the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel have not been directly in front this time, but have gone behind the scenes. In this latest US-Iran confrontation, suddenly Kuwait and Bahrain have come to Iran's main target.
