US-Iran Tensions Escalate: Military Strikes and Missile Attacks Continue

Tensions between the United States and Iran have risen again. US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that the US military has completed a wave of strikes on Iranian military bases. These include air defense sites, radar systems, marine bases, mine laying capability, and communications sites. In response, Iran has claimed missile and drone strikes on US bases in Jordan and Bahrain. Air defenses have also been activated in Kuwait amid Iranian drone strikes, while Jordan claims to have intercepted 13 Iranian ballistic missiles. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has said that no agreement is needed with Iran. According to Trump, the US has almost complete control over the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's economy is collapsing. Iran has claimed that a US missile strike in Khuzestan Province has killed 7 people, while 8 have been injured. According to Iran's state news agency IRNA, the US is reportedly targeting 3 sites with Iranian cruise missile technology.
