US Judge Apologizes to Would-Be Assassin of Donald Trump, Sparks Outrage

On April 25, 31-year-old Cole Allen broke through security during the'White House Correspondents'Dinner'and opened fire in the lobby of the hotel. Shotguns, pistols, and knives were seized from him. He was also found to have a'target list'of top officials in the Trump administration. He has been arrested under this serious crime. During the hearing of the case, Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqi addressed accused Cole Allen, saying, "I apologize to you for what happened to you in prison." Judge Faruqui expressed concern that the accused was being treated more harshly by the court than any in the Capitol Hill attack on January 6, 2021.
