US Strikes on Five Iranian Provinces Kill At Least 14, Injure 78

14 people have been killed in the US attack on Iran. Iran's Health Ministry has said that at least 14 people have been killed and 78 others injured in US strikes on five Iranian provinces in the past two days. Among the dead are 3 IRGC commandos. Significantly, the US has also attacked near the Iranian city of Mashhad. This is the same city where Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is being buried 131 days after his death. The US targeted the Tehran-Mashhad railway line in this attack. Iranian state TV reports that the train service between Tehran and Mashhad has been stopped after the US strikes on Iran's eastern holy city hours before the burial of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Railway engineers are now working on repairs to start the train service here. The Islamic Republic of Iran Railways has blamed the US-Israeli attack for the attack. Passengers are also said to be stranded and transportation teams are being arranged for the damage.
