Peter Navarro, Senior Counselor for Trade and Manufacturing Affairs in the United States, has said that President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have a very good working relationship and may be able to work out differences on the issue of US tariffs on Russian oil imports by India. Speaking to ANI, Navarro said, I think during the Ukraine-Russia war, 6-8 months ago, I wrote an article stating absolutely correct facts that India was not involved in the oil trade with Russia before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Navarro added, Later he got involved in it in a big way and was selling a lot of refined products on behalf of Russia, which helped the war machinery. Navarro added, And that issue has been resolved. Maybe that article helped a little, but I can tell you that the sharp attacks on me by the Indian people, however, were not handled by President Trump himself.
