According to BJP sources, the central leadership is currently busy with the assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry. Also, the political turmoil over the formation of a new government in Bihar and the coronation of the chief minister has also caught Delhi's attention. The party high command believes that it will be organizationally challenging to expand the cabinet in a huge state like Uttar Pradesh amid the election summer of these important states. The leadership is currently drawing on its full energy to ensure a victory in the next assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh in 2026.
