Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's Flower Shower Sparks Political Debate

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed Shiv Bhakts by showering flower petals on Kanwariyas from a helicopter in Meerut. After this program of the Chief Minister, the firebrand leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former MLA Sangeet Som has given a big statement and intensified the ongoing political debate about the Kanwar Yatra. BJP leader Sangeet Som said that this flower shower by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sent a clear message among the Kanwariyas and the general public that the BJP government is fully committed to the service and respect of Shiv Bhakts. He said that this step of the Chief Minister is a befitting reply to all those who often make objectionable statements about the Kanwar Yatra. During his statement, Sangeet Som also referred to the alleged remarks made by a Delhi Maulana recently about the Kanwariyas. He strongly condemned the Maulana for allegedly calling the Kanwariyas'drug addicts'and'terrorists '.
