Uttar Pradesh Political Battle Erupts Over BJP Leader's Vehicle Attack

The case of stone-pelting and vandalism on the vehicle of a BJP leader in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh has now turned into a major political battle. Samajwadi Party has also opened a front after an FIR was registered against SP workers in the case of attack on the vehicle of former Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) district president Vinay Kumar Pandey alias Gorelal and objectionable remarks on PM-CM. Local SP MLA Zahid Baig has termed this entire action as vendetta politics of the Yogi Adityanath government. SP MLA from Bhadohi Sadar Zahid Baig has submitted a memorandum to District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar demanding immediate cancellation of the cases registered against the students protesting in front of Kashi Naresh University gate. He said outside the Collectorate auditorium that the BJP people should not be scared because the Samajwadi Party people are not afraid to send them to jail again. Talking to reporters, SP MLA Zahid Baig said that the students were peacefully agitating against the NEET paper leak by informing the administration.
