Uttar Pradesh Schools Closed Due to Kanwar Yatra

The big news related to schools has come from Ghaziabad, UP. All schools from class 1 to 12 will be closed from 4 to 12 August in Ghaziabad. The administration has issued this order. In view of Kanwar Yatra in Ghaziabad, all schools from class 1 to 12 will be closed from 4 to 12 August. In view of the safety of students and traffic arrangements, the administration has issued this order. Colleges and technical institutions will also be closed except for pre-scheduled examinations. In Baghpat, UP, orders have also been issued to keep all schools in the district closed from 3 to 12 August due to Kanwar Yatra. On the instructions of District Magistrate Asmita Lal, District School Inspector Rajiv Yadav had issued orders to keep the schools closed. In Muzaffarnagar, UP, too, a holiday has been declared from 3 to 10 August due to Kanwar Yatra. District Basic Education Officer Sandeep Kumar had said, "Due to Kanwar Yatra in the district, all primary schools / secondary schools of the district and 10 CBSE / ICSE / Higher Secondary / Higher Secondary / Technical Boards affiliated to the UP Board of Technical Education will be closed from 3 to 12 August."
