The portfolios have been divided among the newly inducted ministers in the Yogi cabinet. Bhupendra Chaudhary got Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) portfolio and Manoj Pandey got Food, Logistics and Civil Supplies Department. Both are cabinet ministers. Ajit Pal Singh has been given the responsibility of Food Security and Pharmaceuticals Department. Somendra Tomar has been given the responsibility of Political Pension, Sainik Welfare and Provincial Guard Department. Both will be Minister of State (Independent Charge) in their respective departments. Krishna Paswan has been given the responsibility of Livestock and Dairy Development Department. Kailash Singh Rajput has been given the responsibility of Energy and Additional Energy Sources Department. Surendra Diler has been given the responsibility of Revenue and Hansraj Vishwakarma has been given the responsibility of Small Micro and Medium Enterprises. All these four will be ministers of state in their respective departments. The cabinet expansion of the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh took place on 10 May. Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath to the new ministers in Jan Bhawan. Six new ministers in the Yogi cabinet - Bhupendra Chaudhary, Surendra Chaudhary, Dilraj Raj, Krishna Pal Singh and Vishwakarma were promoted to the cabinet rank.
