Uttarakhand Assembly Elections: Draft Voter List Ready, Eligible Voters Can Still Register

Jagran Correspondent, Haldwani | After a month-long door-to-door survey of the SIR (Special Intensive Revision) process, the draft voter list is ready. No eligible person needs to panic if his / her name is not in this voter list. From July 14 to August 13, he / she will be given an opportunity to register as a voter for a month. For this, it is necessary to meet the BLO (Booth Level Officer) of the concerned area. After checking the draft voter list available with the BLO, the form has to be submitted. The SIR round is going on in Uttarakhand before the assembly elections. From June 8 to July 8, the BLO conducted a door-to-door survey of the voters as well as filled the forms. After the survey was completed, it was found that out of the 7,65,135 voters associated with the six assemblies of Nainital district, the names of different categories have been included.
