Uttarakhand Congress Leader Kumari Selja Slams Modi Government Over Various Issues

Addressing a press conference in Dehradun, Uttarakhand Congress in-charge Kumari Selja came down heavily on the Modi government at the Centre and the Dhami government in the state. She cornered the government on issues like Ankita Bhandari murder, Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll (SIR), corruption, unemployment, paper leak and migration. She also outlined the upcoming agitation and protests of the Congress. She said that the Congress will take out a Nyay Yatra from October 22. Kumari Selja, referring to Ankita Bhandari murder, said that the names of ruling party leaders have come out in this case and the audio also went viral, but questions remain about the interrogation and investigation of the concerned leaders. She also objected to the appointment of Dushyant Gautam as the governor of Sikkim. She said that this has hurt the sentiments of the people of Uttarakhand. She expressed fears that after becoming the governor, the investigation of the case may be affected. She said that the Congress movement to get justice for Ankita will continue. The Congress also announced a candle march in Dehradun this evening. Congress in-charge of the voters'list is also raising questions on the Delhi Special Election Commission (SIR).
