Vasna APMC Farmers Suffer Losses as Storm and Rains Damage Crops

Farmers and traders in Vasna APMC are facing huge losses due to the storm and heavy rains in Ahmedabad. The fields of onions, garlic, and potatoes laid out have been damaged, while traders have had to leave their goods outside due to lack of space in their shops. The crop has been washed away by strong winds and rains, forcing farmers to sell onions for only Rs 16 instead of Rs 25. Local farmers are suffering more financial losses due to the closure of the export route.
