Violence Erupts at Gorakhpur Press Conference: Former SP Leader Assaulted

In Gorakhpur, UP, there was a ruckus during the press conference of SP district president over Gyanesh Kumar's protest over the SIR and changing the MLC candidate. A former district president of SP was assaulted by an SP leader and his supporters. During this, there was a ruckus in the Gorakhpur Press Club. In front of the media persons, the supporters of the SP leader rained slaps and abuses on the former district president. During this, the supporters threatened to see him if he left the press club. The supporters of the SP leader who arrived with a private gunner among the security personnel continued the ruckus for half an hour. There was a press conference of SP district president Brijesh Kumar Gautam at 2: 00 pm on 3 October (Saturday) at Gorakhpur Journals Press Club located in the Cantt police station area of Gorakhpur. Around 2: 15 pm, the press conference began. There was a ruckus in the auditorium when the former district president of SP was assaulted by Nagina Sahni after a dispute over the chair. SP leader and former district president Vijay Bahadur Singh Nishad along with a private policeman will also reach the press conference.
