West Bengal Election Row: Shatrughan Sinha Embroiled in Blue Beacon Controversy

A new war has broken out in West Bengal's electoral battle over blue beacons. Trinamool Congress veteran and Asansol MP Shatrughan Sinha is in the middle of a controversy. The case pertains to the Jamudia assembly constituency, where he is facing serious allegations of poll code violation. In fact, Shatrughan Sinha was on his way to campaign in support of TMC candidate Hareram Singh. It is alleged that the vehicle he used during the campaign had blue beacons on it. As soon as the opposition parties noticed this, they started questioning how a sitting MP could campaign with a blue beacon during the election. This incident has created a political stir in the entire industrial area. When Shatrughan Sinha was questioned on these allegations, he dismissed them in a very hushed tone. He also clarified that the blue beacons on the vehicle are quite old and have not been installed. He also claimed that the beacons are not in working condition.
