Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose resigned from his post on Thursday ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. * A Lok Bhawan official informed that CV Anand Bose submitted his resignation in New Delhi. * Speaking to Press Trust of India (PTI) after his resignation, he clarified, "I have spent enough time in the Governor's House." * He was appointed as the Governor of West Bengal in November 2022 by the central government and he carried out this responsibility for about three and a half years. * During his tenure, Bose launched several public outreach programs including the "Apna Bharat-Jagta Bengal" campaign from Raj Bhavan, Kolkata. * This initiative included a "File-to-Field" campaign, in which he visited hundreds of tribal areas across the state to interact with citizens. * The governor also went on a five-year outreach program.
