Kolkata, Nov 6: West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose resigned from his post on Thursday. The Governor was in Delhi on Thursday. He submitted his resignation to the President during a visit to Delhi. According to reports, Tamil Nadu Governor CV Ravi has been temporarily appointed as the Governor of Bengal. The Governor's resignation ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections is considered politically significant. After resigning, CV Anand Bose told PTI, "I have spent a lot of time in the Governor's office. After Jagdeep Dhankhar became the Vice President, CV Anand Bose was appointed as the Governor of West Bengal on November 23, 2002. He served in this position for about three years and five months. As Governor, Anand Bose was vocal on many issues in the state from the beginning. He constantly criticised the policies of the Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal. During his tenure, the conflict between the state and the Governor increased on many issues.
