After the change of power in West Bengal, the politics of the state seems to be rapidly moving towards a new direction. For the last about 15 years, Mamata Banerjee remained the center of Bengal politics. Her influence was visible from the new state secretariat to the mohallas, government schemes, puja pandals and local administration. But after the change of power, the political equation changed rapidly and now a new power center has been established in the state under the leadership of the BJP.
